During the Spring the group worked hard to put a new level floor in the building, and to replace broken guttering. There still remains a lot of work to do to the building overall - the roof probably needs replaced; windows/doors repaired and installed; kitchen and wash-room areas established. The long-term plan is that the building will function using renewable energy sources only (wind turbine/solar panels/rainwater butts etc). As the group is now in a position to apply for charitable funding, it has been decided to suspend working on the building using the small funds that are presently available, and apply for funding to cover all the renovation work needed. An application is currently being put together.
